  “Could I ask all parents and children to come to the Requiem Masses this weekend for Pope Francis? Whether practicing Catholics or not, or non-Catholics but people of goodwill, the Pope only asked one thing of people and that was to pray for him.

  As a community can we come together to pray for this wise, humble and compassionate servant of God? All welcome!”

  CAFOD Fast Day and Harvest Festival Collection.

  To mark CAFOD Fast Day and celebrate Harvest Festival this

  year we will be having a collection to support our local ‘Foodbank.’

  It would be great if each child could bring in just one item for

  the collection; here is a shopping list of the most needed items:

  Foodbank Shopping List:

  • Tea bags
  • Coffee
  • Juice
  • UHT Milk
  • Pasta
  • Beans
  • Hot dogs
  • Tuna

  Thank you in anticipation for your generous contributions.

  All items should be brought into school by Friday 4^th October.
