Guidance for attendance at school during lockdown.

Dear Parents and Carers,

Firstly, thank you for all your consideration and support during what was a difficult first week of the Spring term 2021. You may already have seen the letter from Steve Reddy and Matt Ashton but I just wanted to remind you of the attendance arrangements for vulnerable pupils and children of critical workers.

We would love to be able to welcome all of the children back to school but we must ensure that we follow guidance and minimise the risk of virus transmission in order to keep everyone in our school family safe.

We are asking that children of critical workers only attend school when it is necessary for them to do so. In other words, in line with updated government guidance issued on Friday, even if you are a critical worker, if your child(ren) can remain at home rather than attend school, on some or all days, then they should. Please only use the offer of provision when it is crucial for you to undertake your critical role.

Thank you for helping us to keep everybody safe during this difficult time.

M Burke. Headteacher
