Year 6 Daily Routines
Our school day begins at 8:50am and finishes at 3:20pm.
Children may walk home independently, but only if we have prior written permission and a completed form submitted to the school office.
PE takes place on Tuesdays, and swimming is on Thursdays, so children are welcome to wear their PE kits on both days.
Homework is set every Friday via www.yearsix.co.uk, and pupils have one week to complete their tasks.
Reading books can be changed on Mondays and Thursdays, but we’re happy to change books daily for any child who needs a new one. We kindly ask that children read at least three times per week, or alternatively complete three Reading Plus challenges to support their progress.
